Instagram reviews
Safi Free buckwheat vs Safi Free light bread

Based on Instagram story research involving 5,517 consumers, the Safi Free light soft bread flour mix won 71% over the Safi Free crispy crust buckwheat bread flour mix!

I also voted for Safi Free light soft bread because it makes the world's best tasting gluten-free wet buns, and it is the flour blend that can be substituted one-for-one for the express flour blend.

Safi Free vs Safi Reform buns

Based on Insta story research involving 5780 consumers, the Safi Reform bread and pastry flour bun won 58% of the time over the Safi Free light bread flour bun click here!

I also voted for the Safi Reform (even though I consume the Safi Free watery bun) because my friends/family/colleagues/no and MY FAMILY think it is the best, especially the protein bun.

Bread recipe:

Ingredients (for 455 g bread):

  • 250 g Safi Free light soft bread flour mix; 3 g Safi Reform Himalayan salt; 18 g freshly squeezed lemon juice or 6% white wine vinegar; 280 g room temperature water; 1+1 g coconut oil for baking

Preparation:

Mix the water, lemon juice and salt in a bowl, then add the flour and knead well.

After mixing, add the flour, salt, salt, pepper, salt and sugar and mix well.

After resting, shape on a lightly floured surface, brush with oil.

Bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C for 50 minutes on the top and bottom programmes, then brush again with a thin layer of coconut oil (just for colour) and bake for 15 minutes at 200 °C.

Tip: you can also use the flour mixture to make buns. In this case, the ingredients are modified in this way:

140g Safi Free Light Soft Bread Flour Mix; 2g salt; 10g freshly squeezed lemon juice or apple cider vinegar; 170g lukewarm water

The preparation is similar to the bread, but you need to form 3 rolls. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 °C for 40 minutes

Note: It is tastier, easier and more economical to make with white wine vinegar, as the vinegar taste is not noticeable! Never use store-bottled lemon juice, only freshly squeezed.
